The gameplay reveal offered a lengthy, single-cut showing of Maple Valley, a track that has been in the Forza series since the first installment. The gameplay demo offered a look at the dynamic weather and time of day effects, all in-engine.

New to Forza Motorsport is the inclusion of tire and fuel management, a first for the Motorsport series. This will add another layer of complexity to the gameplay, allowing you to be in charge of more than just your placement during a race.

The game is playable at Gamescom 2017 and German YouTuber Gronkh captured twenty-two minutes of gameplay footage at 4K resolution and 60fps, running on Xbox One X. As you can see for yourself, the game looks fantastic and that's even with YouTube's compression and the lack of High Dynamic Range (which will be available on Xbox One S, Xbox One X and Windows 10 PC provided you have a compatible display).

IGN has recently released some new 4K gameplay footage from the PC version of Forza Horizons, though sadly this footage at 30FPS. Right now we know that the game will be using DirectX 12 and will likely be a Windows 10 Store exclusive. 076b4e4f54
