Hi. I have the instax mini 8 Polaroid camera. I went to use it for the 4th time and all of a sudden it doesn't work. When turned on all the orange lights are on the dial not just one, there's a red light by the screen viewer and it won't take any pics. How do I fix this I emailed Fuji film and they didn't answer
I have this EXACT problem. All the lights are flashing! I don't know who to contact though, Walmart, where I bought it) or fujI! This is bull crap. I got it two years ago and have barely used it. I just got the film today, too!
Instax Mini is a 54 mm 86 mm (2.1 in 3.4 in) (approximately ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1 credit-card-size) integral daylight ISO 800 color film designed for use with Fujifilm instax mini compatible cameras. In Japan the Instax Mini cameras are called and referred to as cheki (チェキ), derived from the English \"check it\", and instax mini 10/20/... is the model name.[5] Instax Mini is available in colour and black and white and themed.
The Digital Instax Pivi line was intended as a digital/analog hybrid. The original intention was to produce a new format to feed a series of digital instant cameras similar in approach to the Olympus C-211, a digital camera with a built-in Polaroid 500 film printer. Fujifilm eventually released the FinePix PR21, a digital camera with a built-in Instax mini printer, in 1999.[7] A stand-alone printer was planned from the start but was not the primary focus, but this changed with the advent of mobile devices.[citation needed] This device made it to market in 2004 (as the Pivi MP-100), after about five years in development.
Called Cheki Wide in Japan.Released the year after the mini film and cameras, the negative was increased on this format to create an image size based on the golden ratio.[4] Upon introduction, this format was simply called Instax without any suffix (making it the normal, not mini, Instax film), Fujifilm gradually embedded the \"Wide\" moniker into the name of the product. That rebranding pattern can also be seen on the Instax 210 which is now described on the Fujifilm web site as Instax Wide 210, despite not being referenced elsewhere in such a way.[8] Instax Wide is available in colour and black and white.
Fujifilm originally wished to release the Instax series worldwide including North America and Europe simultaneously,[17] but chose to work with Polaroid on the mio camera based on the Instax mini 10/20 for the US market. The mio product was discontinued after a few years.
The only way you would be able to accomplish a swap without destroying one exposure would be to do so in a film changing bag. Packs not on the camera that don't have the factory-installed cover would have to be stored in light-tight containers. By examining the pack, you may find that it's possible to re-install the cover after it has been ejected, but even if you are able to do that, I would still recommend storing partially-used packs in light-tight containers.
People who are using Instax or Polaroid cameras, many question have come about instax mini film or the Polaroid film. I have done a lot of research and try to explain almost all of the film issue starting from price, color, size to film frame design and buying tips.
I always recommend to buy bulk film. So just being aware of buying the mini film, you can save upto 40% to 50% sometimes. The price of Instax film fluctuate all the time depending on the market timing.
So the Instax mini cameras use same size of film. Therefore, you can use mini film to mini 7s, mini 8, mini 9, mini 70, mini 90 or to any Instax mini cameras easily. Even Polaroid 300 has the same size of film to shoot, so you can use Instax mini film to it without doubt.
Yes you can use Polaroid 300 film in the Instax mini 9 film. Polaroid 300 film size is 46mm x 62mm or ( 1.8 in x 2.4 in ) as for Picture Size but the film size is 54(W) x 86(H) which is exact same as mini 9 film. As I said before only the size of film is matter to ensure it.
Polaroid 300 camera is not a brand of Fuji production. But you want to use instax mini film to it. Is it possible yes because the Polaroid 300 uses the same size of film as like as Instax mini 9 camera. if(typeof ez_ad_units != 'undefined'){ez_ad_units.push([[336,280],'instaxworld_com-large-leaderboard-2','ezslot_9',133,'0','0'])};__ez_fad_position('div-gpt-ad-instaxworld_com-large-leaderboard-2-0');
Thus, knowing the actual size of mini film or square film or wide film, you can ensure it by yourself. There are three size of film Fujifilm production use for instax camera based on mini, square and wide camera. That is mean if you know the actual size of those three films, you can use any of film to them.
In short the answer is Yes. The Instax mini 9 and Instax 8 use the same film. As I have discussed above the size is only matter to shoot. Mini 9 and 8 use the same size of film that is 46mm x 62mm or ( 1.8 in x 2.4 in ) as for Picture Size but the film size is 54(W) x 86(H).
